- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆HORRIBLE!!!!! Customer service is awful! They will call you about once a month to come in and "sign paperwork" giving you a dead line that if not signed by said day... Your rate will be adjusted. So you can guess I received this threat, so Of course one of many times I had to take time out to go sign papers, and what do you know, I see a spike in my rate. Get ahold of them, says I'll look into it and get to the bottom of it and call you back. So of course I have to call back cause days went by... Says she wasn't sure why and that she would work on getting it fixed. Let's just say it's been like 9 months and it was just ignored. I let it go and they got 50.00 extra bucks out of me. But it's funny that the following and thereafter rate was correct! Then they wanted my wife, who wasn't even on the policy, to come sign paper work. She had nothing to even do with the policy and didn't drive the vehicle in question. I ignored them that time, got a letter, says they were dropping me as a customer. Said "you know what, GOOD!!" Place sucks in my opinion! Got coverage for the same rate elsewhere and haven't been bothered once since getting coverage! Oh, it gets better. Had to make a claim for weather damage. Call the claims dept. this is while I was covered. Claims says they have NO RECORD OF ME! Didn't have my paperwork in hand with an account number, gave her every piece of info besides account to look me up... NO RECORD OF YOU SIR! Put her on hold and dug out my policy... "Ohhhhh there you are sir!" Funny cause all the other info that I gave was correct in her records! Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere! They aren't much cheaper than the others. I would be more than happy to pay a little more and get compitant customer service. I only gave one star cause it wouldn't let me leave it blank! Shame on you Mark Copeland State Farm! You'all need to regroup and most definetely need to retrain in lots of areas!By Mike M, December 14, 2016
